Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is place in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it's soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

A New Thing

A NEW THING

Isaiah 43:18-19
"Forget the former things;

do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.

This is the Scripture given to me recently by God, I've been getting nervous about the upcoming birth and I keep going over all the previous births and wondering how this one will go, but God clearly said to me - Stop dwelling on the past I am doing a new thing! So I wait in eager (ish) anticipation to see what God's got in store for this next birth, I'm praying and hoping it will go well and somehow bring glory to Him, that the peace etc in the room will be noticed. Please do pray with me for a safe and peaceful delivery, and that I heal quickly and well as my dearest hubby has got to have a knee operation end of March. Also for my emotional health as I know there is very little chance that I will have enough milk to be able to exclusively breastfeed and I find this difficult but with hormones on top I just need to learn to rest in Jesus!

Meant to comment on your previous post about your placenta moving. Praise the Lord that the prayers of his saints were answered. I was so happy when I read the news.
Erin (use to live in Ireland now back in the States), and due w/my 4th child in April.

Praying for you my friend! I know that God has all in His control. You will do fine! And please let us know if there is anything we can do to help. See you soon. The handover starts this week - so when we get past the half term week we should have a lull before the next arrivals. It would be great to get together. Missing you! - Deedee
