Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is place in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it's soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

Getting Organised

My lovely husband and father really made my day last week and put me some more shelves up in our school room and we mangaged to clear the worktop - it's such a dream to work in now, and so far we've managed to keep it nice and tidy so that we can work there every day. Also having the chalk board where the children can see it and use it has been productive and they've each done some work on it - Bethany as you can see from the picture above decided to write out the numbers from 1 - 100 and it was lovely to see it finally clicking with her -the pattern of numbers!
Both Bethany and Matthew got their creative sides out the same day the school room was sorted and made some photo frames - I love seeing them get creative

Thank you Deedee - it's not been such a great week this week what with upset tummy and braxton hicks and little ones with colds - but I'm sure baby will be born soon and we'll get into some new routine! xx
