Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is place in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it's soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

Welcoming New Life

Psalm 139:13-16
13 For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.

We are so blessed - God has granted us a new life to bring into this world!
(guess date end of Jan)

 In 2001 while we were trying everything you could imagine to get pregnant I would never have dreamed that in 10 years time we would be expecting our 6th baby!!!

We so often believe that it is our right to have children (or not) when we want them (or don't) but when you look at the passage from Psalms it clearly states that God is the author of life!!

I am truly thankful for all my children - each one comes with challenges and blessings, each one somehow makes me lean that little bit more on God, for help, encouragement and wisdom and each one helps me overcome my naturally selfish attitude as I try to put their needs before mine and raise them God's way!

Thank you God for blessing us with another pregnancy, help us with all the challenges that brings and help us as we raise the children already with us!
