Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is place in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it's soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

How blessed Am I

I just had to share about my wonderful moment which happened last week, it was my eldest dd's 8th birthday and she spent most of the day with Daddy, accompanying him on a small job and having a meal out with him (gotta love happy meals) then we had time at Nanny's and a Hannah Montana cake. We didn't do anything really amazing so what happened the next day really surprised me, she had been at Nannys and doing some craft stuff - she made us a card, which she presented to us

which was followed by "I love you" - ahh so sweet it brought tears to my eyes and made me feel so very blessed!

Hi Rebekah, I have one box that I tend to keep things in - my joy box! It is something I'm quite remiss in though keeping special things and recording memories -I'm working on it though lol

Thats a sweet idea- At the moment, I have a dawer full of little things, (cause you cant keep them all, but things that they have made especially or spent time over,) and I plan to put them in memory boxes, when I get a bit of extra time, and decorate each box.
I saw it on a blog and thouht it made a lovely idea.

:0) Happy Easter!
