Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is place in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it's soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

Journey For Hope

We were at Oak Farm Park on Tuesday for a monthly christian home ed meet, and we met an amazing family - Simon and Michelle Garratt and their four children, who are embarking on a journey through Europe this summer - they are taking their children in a motor home and travelling through NINE countries - to hand out posters of Madeleine McCann and raise money for Rainbows Childrens Hospice and Teenage Cancer Trust.

They are holding a family fun day on 2ND JULY 9AM-1PM where there will be a bouncy castle, raffle, maritial arts demo, Face painting, refreshments and lots more - this will be held at RAVENSTONE VILLAGE INSTITUTE, Leicestershire. If you could get along there and support them that would be great!

If you'd like to see their page where you can donate if you want to help support this worthy cause click here

I am certainly wishing them all the best and will be praying that they have a fruitful journey and I'm sure it will be an enriching experience for them as a family.
