Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is place in her bosom to be nursed and trained! Could she have but one glimpse in to the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into it's soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,--she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." -JR Miller

The Storm after the calm

Yes I know its usually the other way around but its this way for us - the downside to working for yourself - you have 2 weeks holiday then its manic when you come  back, plus you have to recover from losing 2 weeks earning power!!

It's slowly easing now, but we have been hit by a sickness bug now - thankfully its only a mild one but still when you have 6 children for it to travel through .....

We were also blessed to get to go to Legoland for the day - £22 for 6 children and 3 adults BARGAIN!!!

Our first ever visit, in fact it was the childrens first ever visit to any type of theme park!

After a wobbly start, (its quite hard to know where to start with so many littlies in such a big place) we settled in and the children had a blast!

Their favourite ride was the Rapids, which they were able to ride 3 consecutive times though they came off soaking wet!!

I have so many things to catch up with here, a giveaway I promised before hols, sharing some books I have been reading and learning from and showing you my progress on organising our school room and other areas!! Hopefully the sick children will allow me time to get some blog posts written!!
